After a successful tour stop in Newtown, Pennsylvania, the PFX Tour is excited about our next stop in Iowa City, Iowa. We have received many e-mails from people from Newtown and appreciate their support and enjoyment of the PFX experience. The PFX Pros had a wonderful time too as they are fulfulling the dream of being a professional athlete that reaches the young girls in the sport and makes a difference in their lives.

Memories of Newtown includes; Jessica Mendoza & Andrea Duran's 240 feet homeruns. Diving catch by second baseman Mia Longfellow. Lisa Fernandez striking out the side! Natasha & Harmony's speed on the bases! The Pro-Am Skill Challenges of Pitching, Bunting & Hitting bringing the Pros & Ams together! Lots of Laughs, Pictures & Life-long memories! The fans running and diving for foul balls...and getting their favorite pro's autographs! Great food by Joe Garvey, I can go on and on...:)

Don't miss your chance to experience the ProFastpitch X-treme Tour! We promise you it is more than you imagine! See you there!

IOWA CITY Tour stop was AMAZING!!! The crowds were fantastic. Friday morning 136 amateurs were inspired by PFX Pros at the Players Clinic. During the Friday night Opening Ceremonies the amateur teams inherently formed a human tunnel that provided an opening for the PFX Pros to run through...hands were slapped; High Fives were given and the roar of the crowd could be heard miles away.

It was so much fun to see all the amateur teams from every age group plus the PFX Pros on the field at the same time. After the ceremonial first pitches and the National Anthem, play began between PFX Red and PFX Blue. The offensive highlights of the first pro game were three home runs by Lisa Fernandez, Jodi Legaspi and Tairia Flowers also stand up doubles by both Natasha Watley and Ashley Monceaux! Randi Berg came up with a huge RBI single to put her team up! The defensive highlights included an amazing catch by both Andrea Duran and Natasha Watley. Not to be out done, three-time Olympic Gold Medalist; centerfielder; Laura Berg throw a bullet to the plate to nail a potential run and help to save her team the victory. All this excitement captivated the crowd of 3100 plus fans. It was so much fun!

The Saturday morning College Skill Showcase Session was packed. There was over 130 amateurs who participated with over 20 college coaches observing their skills. Working through the rain, we all made it happen. Great job to each one of you! It was fun working with you!

The second Pro game was impacted before and after competition by the Pro-Am Skill Challenges of bunting and hitting. With a crowd of over 3300 plus, hundreds of girls shared in the anticipation of whether their name would be called. The hitting challenge was won in dramatic fashion by a towering home run off the HUGE scoreboard in centerfield by Jodi Legaspi's Pro-Am team! Congrats!

The second Pro game provided great offense and defense to entertain the softball fans. Dan Sorensen, Candice Baker and Jenny Ritter lead their teams in the pitching circle! Outstanding performances by the PFX Pros! On Day Three; Amateur Day...every amateur team felt like a winner as Jennie Ritter and myself walked amongst the crowds to watch and meet the young athletes as they prepared for their games.

Everyone who attended the Iowa City Tour stop was truly amazing. Thank you for your support of the PFX Tour and the sport of fastpitch softball. A special thank you to I-Club Organization! You are AWESOME! We hope to see all of you again next year!

Next stop is McKinney, Texas with over 80 teams. Can't wait! Indianapolis...see you soon. Dot

MCKINNEY, TEXAS tour stop was GREAT! The PFX Pro's enjoyed putting on the Learn-from-the-Pro's Player Clinic for over 100 amateurs. The motivation from the Pros to the young athletes was evident! The Parent Talk and Coaches Clinic was also a huge success. The Pro games were highlighted with a HOME RUN BLAST off the outfield American Flag Pole from Tairia Flowers and stand up doubles from Tina Boutelle and Ashley Monceaux. Outstanding all-around performances from Rachel Countryman and Andrea Duran. Duran had some SPECTACULAR Defensive gems that took everyone's breath away! Defensively, in one INCREDIBLE inning both Tina Boutelle from right field and Brandey Weed from left field gunned out at homeplate potential winning runs. Stacey Nuveman held her position strong tagging out those runners protecting her HOME! Jennie Ritter, Dana Sorensen, Candice Baker and Lisa Fernandez were all stellar from the pitching circle!

Another highlight came during the Mattingly Sports Pro-Am Hitting Challenge, when the Pro-Am teams of Tairia Flowers and Jessica Mendoza where tied because of two SMASHED homeruns by both PFX PROs leaving just Tina Boutelle's Pro-Am team left to see if their scores could be beaten. Tina and her amateur teammate were at 11 points with only one pitch left for Tina...the announcer tallied up the score and over the PA said to Boutelle; "A Homerun would Win!". Tina delivered with just THAT! A Blast over the left centerfield fence to WIN!!! The fans went WILD as well as Tina & her amateur teammate!

The PFX Tour is heading to Indianapolis! See you there! Dot

Indianapolis was FANTASTIC! The crowds on an average of over 3,000 for each Pro Game were intense and energized. The 10U and 12U teams were on fire! :) The PFX Pro worked the crowd during the weekend event, signing autographs and getting their photos taken...on the field there was another standout performances by Tairia Flowers, Rachel Countryman, Natasha Watley, Jennie Ritter, Lisa Fernandez, Lauren Lappen and Laura Berg! The Pro Am Skill Challenges belonged to Laura Berg for Pitching and Bunting! Her amateur teammate and herself delievered when it counted! Also, standout performance again by Tina Boutelle both on the field of play and during the Mattingly Sports Hitting/Home Run Derby Challenge which she has now won for the past two tour stops in dramatic fashion.
