RACHEL COUNTRYMAN

  • Hometown: Steele, Alabama
  • High School:Ashville High School
  • College:Jacksonville State University
  • Position: SS
  • B/T: R/R

During her career at Jacksonville State University, many considered Rachel to be not only the best shortstop in the Atlantic Sun Conference, but also the best in NCAA Division I softball.  She is one of only two Gamecocks to start all 51 games in one season. But her successes far exceeded those achieved on the softball field.  As a result of her hard work in the classroom, Countryman received numerous University and NCAA student-athlete honors.  As a PFX athlete, Countryman will bring excitement to both sides of the plate.  Offensively, she will strive to be the best.  Defensively, she will stop at nothing to protect her team and the win.  Keep your eyes on the Big Country!
